Draining
A lot of progress has been accomplished in genetics to increase milk production. But this increase in the animal's output also brings an increase in the amount of toxins that the animal must eliminate in order to stay healthy. Many mastitis are caused by a toxic overload in the liver, kidneys, pancreas, etc.
This is why we recommend a preventive draining for dairy cows at the beginning of every season. (See the Prevention Plan p.7)
Most curative homeopathic treatments also include a draining before and after, and this is part of their effectiveness.
For hobbled cows, give SOLIFOI 20 ml in the water bowl 3 mornings in a row. There will be enough left for her neighbor.
Do not give anything else for the next 3 days to avoid contact between products. Then, give SOLIDRAIN 3 milkings in a row.

Stimulate re-mineralization (after drainage, never before!)
Pregnancies, calving and repeated periods of high milk production mean an extreme need for mineral intake. It is not enough to give mineral supplements, it is necessary to promote mineral absorption. This is part of the Prevention Plan (p. 8) and also of the curative treatments aimed at the cow's problems just before calving. (See also SOLICAR and SOLIMOD2).
Put SOLICAR (20 ml) in the water bowl 5 mornings in a row. Do not give anything else for the next 3 days to avoid contact between products. Put SOLIMOD2 (20 ml) in the water bowl 5 mornings in a row. Do not give anything else for the next 3 days to avoid contact between products. Repeat with a one treatment reminder of 20 ml once a month of the two products with a 3-day wait in-between. This will help with re-mineralization and correct relaxed sphincters, milk leaking and milk fevers.
