1. ARTHRITIS

Observation:

Inflammatory illness affecting the joints, mainly the knees among bovines. Often there is swelling, even heat in the knee and calf joints, there may be fever. The animal may limp or have trouble moving, and the limps are partly bent at rest. Its legs shake when it rises, which is caused by pain.

1.1 Newborn acute arthritis:

Cause:

This type of arthritis often follows navel infection

Protocol:

SEPTISOL + FLAMESOL morning
SEPTISOL + STRESSSOL evening,
for 5 to 10 days, according to results.

1.2 Acute traumatic arthritis:

Cause:

Often after a fall, a blow or a strain. The animal may have over-stretched its legs while standing up, possibly because it hasn’t learned yet to stand up while tied. Legs shake.

Protocol:

STRESSOL + FLAMESOL morning and evening, for 5 to 10 days, according to results.

1.3 Adult’s infectious arthritis:

Often becomes chronic.

Cause:

It has a metabolic origin (overloading of the filters: spleen, pancreas, kidneys, liver) and sometimes it degenerates if the chronic cause is not eliminated: acidosis or metabolic Type no 1 = excess of fast sugars.

Protocol: FLAMESOL + SEPTISOL in the morning, DRAINSOL in the evening, for 10 days on the first month, 5 days on the second month, then 3 days every month until the symptoms completely disappear. Also treat the chronic cause by modifying the feeding.

1.4 Mycoplasma arthritis:

Protocol:

if treated with antibiotics STAPHSOL for 5 days once a day
MYCOSOL+FLAMESOL morning and evening, for 5 to 10 days, one week without treatment, repeat if needed according to results.
