A draining and tonic product that prolongs the quality of life and morale of our senior animals.
Ah! Old age in my dog, my cat...
Grey hairs appearing, difficulty keeping up during walks, or naps longer than usual… these could well be signs that your pet is getting old.

Old age is an inevitable stage of life that we all dread or experience with varying degrees of ease. Our four-legged friends face it just as much as we do and also suffer the effects of time.
What is old age?
Even though this question may seem silly and you all know the answer, it is still important to clarify a few points to fully understand the issues at stake during this period.
Old age is therefore a progression in life. But not everyone ages in the same way. Indeed, some only feel the effects of age several years later than everyone else, while others experience them much earlier. Still others will not accept getting old, while others will be delighted by this retirement. Well, it's the same for our animals!
At what age is my cat/dog considered old?

Based on averages, a dog is said to enter its senior years around 10 years old, although this age will depend on the breed and size of the animal. Indeed, large dogs develop more slowly but nevertheless have a shorter life expectancy than small dogs. Cats, on the other hand, enter this age around 8-9 years old, but the effects of aging are often felt closer to 12-13 years old. As for horses, they reach their senior years at around 20 years old.
Aging is accompanied by changes at different levels.
Firstly, on a physical level, which is often the easiest to spot:
- the white hairs that are becoming increasingly numerous,
- the hair which becomes less shiny,
- difficulty walking
- a shortness of breath that occurs earlier than before…
Next, regarding behavioral and intellectual aspects:
- an animal that seems confused
- takes longer to do things,
- develops certain behaviors such as barking, whining, and soiling…
How can my pet's quality of life be maintained?
It is therefore important to support immune and osteoarticular health, cardiac, circulatory, digestive, intestinal, and muscular vitality, not forgetting the nervous system, and to give a general boost to prolong quality of life.
