Feux d’artifice : quand le ciel fête le nouvel an… et que les animaux paniquent

For us, fireworks are a "Wow, that's beautiful!" moment.
For our animals, it's more like:

"Help, it's war!"

Every December 31st, firecrackers turn cats and dogs into experts in extreme stress . The problem? The noise is sudden, unpredictable, and incomprehensible. In short, the worst possible scenario for them.

😱 When things blow up, things get out of hand

Fireworks are a major source of stress , especially on New Year's Eve.
Possible (and frequent) consequences:

  • 🏃‍♂️ Panic attack → escape worthy of an action movie

  • 🛋️ Destruction of the sofa (which hadn't done anything wrong)

  • 🐾 Self-mutilation : scratching, biting due to stress

  • ❤️ Tachycardia , rapid breathing

  • 🤤 Excessive salivation (yes, way too much)

  • 🚗 Accidents if the animal escapes outside

In summary: while the sky is exploding, so is their nervous system .

🛡️ How to avoid chaos

Good news: we can limit the damage.

✔️ Simple preventative measures

  • 🏠 Create a calm refuge area (basket, blanket, isolated room)

  • 🎶 Close the shutters and put on some soft music to mask the noise

  • 🏷️ Up-to-date identification is essential (in case the animal runs away)

A helpful reminder: do not scold a panicked animal . It is not deliberately afraid of the sky.

🌿 And to really help?

HOLI STRESS brings serenity and calm to your stressed pet.
Because your dog deserves to end the year relaxed,
And your cat too (even if it pretends to be brave).

🎆 Conclusion
The fireworks last a few minutes.
Your pet's stress, however, can last for hours…
We should help him get through this without a panic attack or running away .

Happy New Year to all, humans and furry friends 🐶🐱🎇
